Derek Anderson Contract Terminated Days Before $2 Million bonus due.
It’s no surprise that Derek Anderson is no longer a Cleveland Brown. After five year’s as the quarterback, who took them nowhere, the Brown’s let him go today. The Brown’s terminated his contract just days before he was due a roster bonus of $2 million and a $7.45 million dollar salary in 2010. Hmm,,,.
Derek Anderson had his best season with the Browns in 2007, when he threw for 3,787 yards and 29 touchdowns and led the team to 10 victories. He received a three-year extension with Cleveland but never lived up to expectations after that point.
Derek Anderson will prevail. The Pro Bowler is young and in good shape. At 6’6″ and 230 pounds, he has a lot of years left, especially if he follows ins in the footsteps of Brett Favre.
