Layla Grace, Last Photo Twitter Tragedy. Layla Grace has died today. The 2-year-old little girl died while battling stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma. Her parents spent the last two years tracking her progress on Twitter, which grew to her having over 42,000 loyal fans.
Neuroblastoma is a cancer that infants and young children can get. It’s extremely difficult to cure and frequently originates in one of the adrenal glands.

Layla Grace‘s story is a gut wrenching one. She was raised in Texas. She spent the last few days sleeping, she awoke on March 8th. Her parents tweeted :
“Mommy is rocking Layla. She has only opened her eyes once today. Her feet are getting cold too.” on March 8th at 11:17 a.m.
A few hours later:
“Please continue 2 pray for peace for Layla. Her dad is in her room right now talking to her & comforting her. She is not doing well at all.” on March 8th at 3:00 p.m.
Very tragically today, her parents tweeted early this morning:
“Layla went to play with the angels early this morning. Rest in peace precious Layla. 11/26/2007 – 3/9/2010″
A series of tweets helped her life make a strong impact on many people. It was her parents who used Twitter to show the tragedy, hope, and their undying love for their daughter.
